Nursing is one of the health professions which functions in conjunction with other health care agencies in assisting individuals, families and communities to achieve and maintain desirable standards and maintain desirable standards of health.

Our Recognition

Khurda School of nursing is recognized by “Govt. of Orissa health and family welfare Department, Bhubaneswar”. The organization is registered under the providers of Indian Trust Act 1882 having Registration No.357 of 2007. It has been also recognised by “Odisha Nurses and Midwives Council, Bhubaneswar”.

In spite of lot of pain and hurdles the Khurda 5601 of Nursing (K5N) has been relentlessly marching ahead with its path. The beginning of K5N has its own story. I am alone dreamt to develop a common platform. I have marched a long way but still the roads seems to be unending.
Now credit of overall success of K5N in all its endeavours goes to the Board of Trustees, Staffs, Students, Well wishers and Co - Colleagues especially goes to my respected and beloved Chairman Prof. Debendra C. Mishra, IAS (Retd.). I hope Chairman will sincere hand holding support to me as well as K5N. If some cooperation determination and help continue it will take K5N to new height.

It is the earnest endeavour of Khurda School of Nursing (KSN} to impart health education to ANM sisters in such a way that they will develop integrated approach in all vistas of professional life. We intend to inculcate in them a sense of honesty and patriotism so that national progress and development will be their sole objective. Ours is the only institute, which has residential facility for all the students. This facility is augmented by placement facility and eco friendly environment within the campus. I assure all our students to provide an excellent atmosphere for learning and best success in future pursuits.
